I was exited about making the wet plates after a little while the other day.
The lens I used makes great pics but produces too much Bokeh.
What I wanted to do first when I started the camera (digital) to shoot with lots of Bokeh around the object. But for now, I’m not interested in soft girly bokeh photos at all. (Maybe because all the photos look same with no personality.)
With missing the waterhouse stops, I had to shoot with the largest aperture with this lens.
I prefer shooting with like F16 but I rarely succeeded in making the wet plates with smaller aperture. The longest exposure time was like 30min. (The wet plate is almost drying up..)
I enlarged the 11×14 and 12×16 plates I made.
11×14 with my favorite bird. Missing focus on his eye, the too much bokeh on the legs.
12×16, the object was a bit tiled so if I focus one title tag, the other title tag will get de-focused.
I leave them without varnishing because of these bokeh. (They are going to be erased eventually..)
